Sassy is a very nice looking yearling. Would like to see a bit more dairy refinement in her
kids. Sassy's dam, Magpie's areas for improvement are Fore Udder, Udder Height, Teat
Diameter & Head. Sassy's sire, Little, has been my go-to buck for Fore-Udder Attachment
improvement. Sassy's Dam, Magpie, received a FS85 (VEEG) 03-04 and E's in Rear Legs, Back &
Rump. Sassy is out of our Mockingbird line which is our most accomplished show line.
Mockingbird, Magpie's Dam, placed 17th Sr Yearling @ 2015 ADG Nationals.
Tickety Boo was our first AI kid. Tickety is polled & his other color pattern is either
Buckskin or Black. He also may carry the Brown Gene. His dam, Lola appraised under code 99
in 2025 with E's in Front Legs, Rear Legs and Back. She received V's in Head, Shoulder
Assembly and Feet. Lola's mammary system is the best in my herd. Hoping to get her fully
appraised in the future. Tickey's sire, Agapes's Prize Goldie Cox. Tickey's Sires Dam, WOOD
BRIDGE FARM 22K GOLD, is the 2021 ADGA National Champion.
This breeding also brings us full circle. Sassy's DD, Ah-Misk-Farms Dark Mockingbird & E K
Farms Goldfinch, Tickety's DSD, were our two first goats. We bred Mockingbird once to
Jacobim, Goldie's boy, but she kidded quad boys. This match also brings together the Wood
Bridge lines in our herd. Mockingbird's SSS is Wood Bridge Farm Abe Zacuto. Hoping for a doe
to retain.

LIVE COVER BREEDING
Kastor is a great solid goat, FS88 (VEEG) @ 05-02. She has E's in Rear Legs & Rump. She also
has V's in Shoulder Assembly & Back. Kastor could use improvements in Fore Udder Attachment,
Rear Udder Height, Head, Front Legs & Feet. Kastor does not have a "Show" udder, but she is
awesome on the milk stand. Tonic is just beautiful. He just has the worst luck trying to get
a full appraisal. Our appraiser in 2025 just could not get over how exceptional he is. In
2023 he was appraised under code 99. He received E's in Head, Back, Rump and a V in Rear
Legs.
We have never bred Kastor to Tonic. Kastor & Tonic have similar strengths, so I have paired
them with partners with complementary strengths in the past. I have been pairing Tonic to
the wrong does in my herd and getting mixed results. I have a hunch this is going to be nice
match. Neither was able to be appraised in 2025 due to tattoo issues. I was very
disappointed, but it was entirely my fault for not double checking that their tattoos were
not too faded. These are my top scoring Linear goats in the herd. Lola, Kastor's paternal
sister, however, might just eclipse them both at her next appraisal.
Kastor was bred on Oct 15 to Lotus by AI. She short cycled and was live covered by Tonic at
on October 21st. Kastor came back into heat on Nov 10th and was bred to Tonic. She did not
short cycle after the 10th. Kastor has settled. This will likely be Kastor & Tonic's last
hurrah. We are retiring both from breeding in 2026. Kastor is not settling on the first try
anymore and Tonic's fertility has been slowly declining. We have plenty of Tonic straws in
the tank to use in the future. Hoping for a doe to retain as Kastor's replacement. Kastor
represents
the materinal side of our Grinny Line. Her materinal brother, Sol's granddaughters were our
two top performing First Freshners in 2025. It has been a surprise, how well our Grinny Line
has done in our herd. Grinny was not what you'd you call a strong canidate for a founding
line. Another lesson learned.

AI BREEDING
Stella Bella was our hightest scoring first freshner at our 2025 Linear Appraisal. We knew
she was looking good for a yearling, but she exceeded our expectations. Stella will take
several years to reach her full potential as she comes from a dam line that is slow to
mature.
It has been tougher than I thought it would be pairing her for 2026
kids. Her results indicate she could use improvement in Rear Udder Height & Rear Udder Arch.
I am not overy concerned about any of these on Stella. Stella's dam scored a
34/34/34 Udder Trifecta as a two year old FF. Stella's maternal sister who is a two year old
FF scored a 33 in RUA. I feel confident Stella
will grow into those categories by her next appraisal.
We have chosen to breed her to a buck that has been in the tank from the begining, Caurso.
Caurso's dam & sire are why we purchased 5 straws. Opera has five Linear Appraisals
all 90 or 91! She has also recieved E's in Head, Shoulder Assembly, Rear Legs &
Back. Cernunnos, his sire has been appraised twice once at 4 and then again at 5 yers old.
He
recived E's in Head, Rear Legs & Back. He aslo recieved a 40 in Rump. Caruso
has 3 full sisters, all earning their Superior Genectics & wins in the show ring. Caurso's
Type Eval indicates his daughters score well in Fore-Udder, Rear Udder Height & Rear Udder
Arch. He is also known to pass on improved General Appearance to his kids. The icing on the
cake is he is a stunning Cou Clair. Stella's other color pattern is Black, so Cou Clair kids
are possible.
Stella was inseminated at 3pm on 11/26 and then again
at 6pm on 11/27. On the 26th, straw made it all the way thru her cervix. on the 27th, the
straw only made it
past the first ring and there was a bit of blow back. As I recall Stella settled on her
first try last year on her first breeding. Hoping we get some Caurso kids. She was also
covered by Raphael at 8am on 11/28. Rapha has some nice Old Mountian Lines. We
retained their doe, Thursday in 2025. This would be a repeat breeding. Trying not to do
repeats, but Thursday just looks sooo good and she will likely be shown in 2026.

Stella & Rapha's kids have lots of nice Promistedland, Sugar Moon & Old Mountian lines. We
retained their 2025 doe, Thursday. She is just beatutiful. She is long & leggy with a
beautiful
head. She is also quite flashy with her cream moonspots on her dark buckskin coat. This is a
worthy repeat breeding. Rapha & Stella compliment each other very nicely. It was a hunch
last
year, this year I have the linear data to back it up. We might even keep another doe if we
don't
get a Stella x Caurso doe to retain.

Selene fooled me again into thinking she was pregnant. Maybe
she was but the embroys did not implant or maybe we just didn't notice her coming back into
heat. She will be live covered by our own Goldie Cox
son, Ticktey Boo. Frustrating as this pushes her out to a due date of May 20th. Really to
late to take any of her kids showing at Nationals & her kids will not have been weaned yet
to take Selene. Oh well, these things happen.
This breeding is going to be exciting. Tickety is young so it is hard to know if we
have achieved what I was
hoping for when we bred him. We really like how he is coming along at 8 months olds. Nice
looking little buckling. Tickety's Dam is our sweet Lola.
Lola has
the worst timing for Appraising but has absolutley the best udder in my herd. She just
appraised
under Code 99 and blew us away with her Structural Scores of E & V. She does have a
weakness, and that is her Rump. She was bred to Cox to improve her Rump Width and possibly
of
add a bit of fore-udder refinement. Cox's Dam, Wood Bridge Farm 22K GOLD is the 2021 ADGA
National Champion.
Selene is also young and immature but scored a FS83 (GGGG) in 2025
as a FF Yearling. She has just so much potential and has already eclipsed her dam. Selene's
dam did not start to shine until four in her 3rd freshening. Selene is going to be one of
those does just gets better with age.
It is always tough when breeding immature, unproven younsters. For this match we own or have
owned the following: Dam, Sire, DS,
DD, SD, DDS, SDS, DDD, SDD, DDSD, SDSD, DDDS, DDDD & DDDDD. So feeling like we have a handle
on this matches genetics. Gonna just have to trust the numbers & lineage behind this
breeding.
This breeding combines the lines of two of my favorite does, who happen to
be first cousins. They are also out of my top performing milk lines. Brewfm Laia & Brewfm
Lola were bestie bottle babies. That sister bond continued till we sold Laia and her
daughter Moon in 2024. These kids will have everything we breed for Temperment, Strong
Maternal Instincts, Solid No Fuss Milking Does, Structural Correctnes & COI under 4%. We
can't wait to meet these kids, it will be hard to let any of them
go.
