Vega brings us full circle. Vega's DDD, Ah-Misk-Farms Dark Mockingbird
& her SDSD, E K Farms Goldfinch, were our two first goats. Vega also combines another of
our
five founding Dam Lines, Caprinos SA Lilly. Lilly & Goldie were our best two goats on the
stand.
We bred Lilly to
Jacobim, Goldie's boy. Lola who has the best mammary & LA in our herd was the result of that
pairing.
Lola is Vega's, Sire's Dam. Vega also brings together our best Show Lines in the herd.
Goldie
has a GCH
as a dry youngster. Mockingbird, placed 17th in Senior Yearling at 2015 ADGA
Nationals. Vega's SSD is Wood Bridge Farm 22K
Gold, 2021 ADGA National Champion.
As neither Sassy or Tickey has been appraised yet, so this is not a true Linear pairing. We
however always look at Linear results when breeding our goats. Once a breeder starts to use
Linear data in breeding it is something one always wants. We have found, breeding results
may vary when only using Grandparent & Great-Grandparent Linear Results. That being said, we
are
experienced with Sassy & Lola's lines. In simpler terms this breeding matches a Doe
with strong Rump/Weaker Milk to a Doe with strong Milk/Weak Rump.
At three weeks old
Vega is looking good. She has a nice top line, wide chest, wide rear arch & her rump is
looking nice. Vega & her brothers all have nice straight front legs. They have inherrited
that from their Sire's Dam, Lola. She has E's FL, RL, BK & V's HD, SA, FT. Looking forward
to see how she looks at 3 months. Her dam's FF udder is really nice. Much better than her
dam's was as a two year old FF.

Vixen is a beautiful Swiss Chamoisee Combination. It will be interesting to see what her
base
coat colors settles to. Her base coat was a stunning ruddy red at birth, just like a fox.
She has strong
facial stripes & moonspots. Her legs are mix of pale golden tan w/black markings & Random
White.
At three days old she has a very nice top line, rump, wide chest and such elegant dairy
character. She has inherrited her beautiful general apperance from her sire. Can't wait to
see her at 3 weeks and 3 months.
Tonic, Vixen's Sire, is just beautiful. He just has the worst luck trying to get
a full appraisal. Our appraiser in 2025 just could not get over how exceptional he is. In
2023 he was appraised under code 99. He received E's in Head, Back, Rump and a V in Rear
Legs. He just keeps getting better. Tonic has nice milking & show
lines. Tonic comes from a strong performing Paternal Line. Sire, SS, SSS & SDS all have
earned their +B
or +S. His paternal brother, sire & sire's sire are also Elite Bucks. To make Elite, Bucks
must be in the top 15% and have daughters born within the last 4 years & have a Production
Type Index value of 0 or greater. The 15% is the average Percetile Rank of his daughters in
a bucks Production Evaluation.
Vixen's dam represents
the materinal side of our Grinny Line. Kastor's maternal brother's granddaughters were our
two top performing First Freshners in 2025. Grinny was linebred ARMCH TWIN CREEKS LS LUCK
OFTHE DRAW ++*S E. A very nice old school line. Kastor is a great solid goat, FS88 (VEEG) @
05-02. She has E's in Rear Legs & Rump. She also
has V's in Shoulder Assembly & Back. Kastor could use improvements in Fore Udder Attachment,
Rear Udder Height, Head, Front Legs & Feet. Kastor does not have a "Show" udder, but she is
awesome on the milk stand.

Vesper has a lap dog temperment. She is just the sweetest little thing. It was a really hard
deceision on which of Selene's girls to keep as I only have room for one. Velvet, Vesper's
sister, is orinally who we were going to retain. Vesper however just won us over with her
silly
antics. She is the smallest of Selene's triplets but the most adventurous. Both are just
about the same confirmationally. Velvet having a more elegant neck but Vesper has a nicer
head. Both are eye-catching, polled & moonspotted. Vesper is gold & white w/Brown Eyes.
This breeding is going to be exciting. Tickety is young so it is hard to know if we
have achieved what I was
hoping for when we bred for him. We really like how he is coming along .
Nice
looking young buck. Tickety's Dam is our sweet Lola.
Lola has
the worst timing for Appraising but has absolutley the best udder in my herd. She just
appraised
under Code 99 and blew us away with her Structural Scores of E & V. She does have a
weakness, and that is her Rump. She was bred to Cox to improve her Rump Width and possibly
of
add a bit of fore-udder refinement. Cox's Dam, Wood Bridge Farm 22K GOLD is the 2021 ADGA
National Champion.
Tickety was shown for the first time at the Wicked Early Spring
Show,
5/23/26. There were 20 buck registered in the 1-2 Year old Class. Think there were 16 in the
class. He
placed: 1st Ring - 5th, 2nd Ring - 6th, 3rd Ring - 5th. Judges seemed to like
his nice rear leg anglulation and rump. We are really excited for him, he is such a
nice sweet young buck. He is a
natural in the ring & he was so well behaved. He even beat a few 2 year olds! If Tickety
stays under height we will continue to show him, he really seems to like it.
Selene
is
also a young, immature and
very dairy doe, but she scored
a
FS83 (GGGG) in 2025
as a FF Yearling @ 86 DIM. She has just so much potential and has already eclipsed her dam.
Selene's
dam did not start to shine until four in her 3rd freshening. Selene is going to be one of
those does just gets better with age. At her 2nd freshening this year I am actually just
blown
away with how her udder is maturing. Her medial is comming in nicely & it seems she has a
bit
more fore-udder this year. Her teat placement was nice as a FF but it has gotten even better
as
a 2F. I can't wait to get her on the stand once we wean her kids. Based on Selene's udder I
doubt I will be offering up any of her 1/2 sisters out of our Lola when she kids. Lola is
Tickety's dam.
It is always tough when breeding immature, unproven younsters. For this match we
own or
have
owned the following: Dam, Sire, DS,
DD, SD, DDS, SDS, DDD, SDD, DDSD, SDSD, DDDS, DDDD & DDDDD. So feeling like we have a handle
on this matches genetics. Gonna just have to trust the numbers & lineage behind this
breeding. This breeding combines the lines of two of my favorite does, who happen to
be first cousins. They are also out of my top performing milk lines. Brewfm Laia & Brewfm
Lola were bestie bottle babies. That sister bond continued till we sold Laia and her
daughter Moon in 2024. These kids will have everything we breed for Temperment, Strong
Maternal Instincts, Solid No Fuss Milking Does, Structuraly Correct & COI under 4%. We
can't wait to meet these kids, it will be hard to let any of them
go. Selene was also covered by our buck Tanqueray. We do plan on keeping a doe from Tickey &
Tanqueray. Gold Kid's sire can only be Tickety's, Swiss can only be Tonic's. Black kids will
need to be tested for Paterinity. Selene and her daughters are a big part of our herds
future.

Violet is a very large single kid. She will take a bit of time to unfold, but we are already loving what
we see. She has nice long legs, straight top line an a beautiful head. Thinking she might be
brown but we will have to wait and see on that. Her ear tips and nose look to be brown and
not black but that could also just be brown moonspots.
As this is a Linear Breeding, this is what we are hoping to achieve. Lola could use more
Rump Width and more blended Fore-Udder transition. Rapha scored a 42 in Rump Width & his dam
has
a 34 in Fore Udder & 33 in Udder Depth. I would also like to see a bit more Udder Depth in
Lola's
kids. Lola's udder is her strongest asset, but it has not been appraised since she was two
in
2021.
FYI, she had to be dried off in 2023 due to Milk Stones & in 2025 due to Shoulder Injury on
the
reccomendation of our vet. At her sixth freshening, at six years old
w/sextuplets her udder was just fantastic. She would have been able to nurse all six!
Rapha is a sweet young buck. His pedigree is
without question, impeccable. He has a pedigree full of great Linear Scores, Show Wins,
Superior Genetics, Elite Status, and PTI/ETA scores over 100. He is linebred NC PROMISEDLAND
MG DIVA.
He did very well for a young immature buck at our 2025 Linear Appraisal. We were
very pleased with his FS86 (VVV ) with E's in Head, Rear Legs & Back. He is nicely balanced
with Body Depth: 33, Strength: 34, Dairyness: 35. As a two-year-old,
Rapha's scores indicated he could use improvement in Front Legs, Shoulder Assembly & Feet.
Lola
scored E in Front Legs, V in Shoulder Assembly & V in Feet at our 2025 Appraisal.
Lola's Paternal Sister is Kastor, who scored a FS88 (VEEG) 05-02 at our 2023 Appraisal was
bred
to Rapha with beautiful results.
