Sales Policy & Pricing

We do not sell single goats, unless you already have a goat friend for your new addition. Goats are herd animals and need another goat companion. We also sell bonded animals together. No exceptions.

  • Kid Reservations are free to make.
  • Quidnesett Farms LLC withholds the right to retain any kid from any breeding regardless of reservation list.
  • Goats are offered to best fit home first with preference given to FFA/4-H Youth, Performance & Show homes
  • Once a kid is born you will be notified and you will have 24 hours to put down a 50% non-refundable deposit.
  • All of our kids are dam raised unless otherwise stated.
  • Our kids will be ready to leave by 8-12 weeks of age. If not picked up by the agreed upon date the sale will be considered void and any deposits paid will be forfeited by the buyer.
  • Kids will have reicieved their 1st & 2nd CDT Vaccine & will be wormed prior to pick up.
  • Wethers will be banded prior to pick up unless you opt to have them surgically castrated at your expense when they come of age.
  • Balance of payment on your goat or goats must be paid in full prior to the time of transport or pickup.
  • All goats will be sold with ADGA registration papers or application, unless otherwise noted.
  • We accept Square, Venmo, PayPal or cash. If you wish to pay via PayPal you will be responsible for any transaction fees associated with that form of payment.
  • All shipping costs (transportation, heath certificates, testing, crates etc.) are the buyer's responsibility.
  • We do not guarantee health of any goats once they leave our farm and are outside of our control. Stress is quite common in both kids and adults of all ages when moved from one place to another. Illness, disease, drop in milk production and in rare cases death can occur if the animal is not properly handled or treated. We will not be responsible for stress/illness/sickness of any kind after the animal leaves our farm. Should the animal die or become gravely injured while on our premises, and in our care, any payments will be refunded.
  • All of our Breeding Stock has DNA on File with the ADGA. If your kid did not have DNA submitted for registration, you may if the need ever arises send in hair sample to the ADGA to confirm you goats parentage.
  • We do not guarantee adult height on young animals sold. We are very transparent about the height of our goats. Ours Does are all under height but most of our Buck are over height.
  • In the case of veterinary confirmed defects, such as hermaphrodites or free martins, replacements will be offered in lieu of refunds. *Proof from veterinarian required.

  • Raising goats is hard & expensive. We are not making money off the sales of our goats. In a good year we just cover our costs. Rising costs of feed, bedding & veternary supplies has forced us to raise our base prices this year. We are still offering quailty healthy goats at a very reasonable price.
